Sliding or casement?
A sliding window has glass panels that move sideways on a track, so nothing swings into the room. It suits balconies, narrow rooms and anywhere furniture stands close to the window. A casement window opens outward on hinges, like a door, and lets you open the whole window for full ventilation. Many houses use sliding windows in most rooms and a casement or fixed window where it makes sense.
Glass options
Clear glass for light, frosted glass for bathrooms and privacy, and toughened glass where safety matters, such as low windows. The toughened glass we sell is original Saint-Gobain.
Old windows
Sticking tracks, loose rollers and cracked panes are common in old windows. We repair what can be repaired and replace glass and fittings, and we tell you plainly if the frame has reached the end of its life.
