Shower glass is one of those jobs where the measurement decides everything. We make toughened glass shower cabins, cubicles and fixed panels for homes, flats and hotels in Sahibabad and Ghaziabad, and we always come and measure before we order a single sheet.

Which kind of shower enclosure suits your bathroom?
Frameless cabin
Thick toughened glass with only hinges and a handle as hardware. It looks clean and open, but the door needs room to swing, so it works best in a bathroom with some width.
Sliding cabin
The door slides on a track. This is the practical choice for narrow bathrooms and tight corners where a swinging door would hit the wall or the basin.
Fixed panel (shower partition)
A single glass panel that keeps water off the dry side of the bathroom. It suits walk-in showers and open layouts, and it needs no door at all.
Cubicle
A complete enclosure with its own door, usually set into a corner or between two walls.
The glass, the thickness and the hardware
Shower glass has to be toughened glass. Most bathrooms use fairly thick glass, usually somewhere between 8 mm and 12 mm, depending on the size of the panel and the type of door. The toughened glass we sell is original Saint-Gobain. Before you decide, come to either shop and look at the glass edge, the hinge and the handle in your hand. Our hinges, handles and connectors are 304 stainless steel. That is the quickest way to judge quality.
Why we measure before we order
Toughened glass cannot be cut, drilled or polished once it has been toughened. So the glass is ordered only after we have measured your bathroom on site, and walls that are slightly out of line are allowed for in that measurement. This is the reason the site visit comes before the quote and not the other way round.
Choosing a shower cabin at a glance
| Type | Best for | Space needed |
|---|---|---|
| Frameless hinged | Larger bathrooms, clean look | Room for the door to swing |
| Sliding | Narrow bathrooms, tight corners | No swing space |
| Fixed panel | Walk-in showers, open layouts | None |
| Corner cubicle | Showers set in a corner | Depends on the corner |
Frequently asked questions
Which glass do you use for shower cabins?
Toughened (tempered) safety glass, original Saint-Gobain.
What is the difference between a shower cabin and a shower cubicle?
People use the words loosely. A cabin is usually a full enclosure with a door. A cubicle is the same idea set into a corner. A shower partition is just a fixed glass panel. We make all three.
Which is better for a small bathroom: sliding or hinged door?
A sliding door, in most cases, because it does not need space to swing open. A frameless hinged door looks better but needs more room. We check your bathroom at the visit before suggesting one.
How thick should shower glass be?
Usually 8 mm to 12 mm. The right choice depends on the width of the panel and the door type. We tell you at the site visit.
Can you replace the glass or fittings of an old shower cabin?
Yes. We replace broken glass and worn hinges and handles in existing cabins.
How do I clean a glass shower cabin?
Use a soft cloth with plain water or a mild glass cleaner, and wipe dry. Avoid scrapers and hard pads, which scratch the glass.
How long does a shower cabin take?
Usually within a week of measurement for toughened glass work, depending on the size of the job. We tell you the exact time when we quote.
What decides the price of a shower cabin?
The size of the bathroom, the type of cabin (frameless, sliding or fixed), the glass thickness and the hinges, handles and fittings. A large, thick, frameless cabin costs more than a small sliding one. We quote after measuring.
Do you measure the bathroom for free?
Yes. Measuring is free and comes before the quote. Call or WhatsApp us, and if you are nearby we can often come the same day.
Are the hinges and handles stainless steel?
Yes. Our shower cabin hardware is 304 stainless steel in heavy quality.
